Sitebulb Website Crawler Pro & Ninja Version
Sitebulb is the second product we have developed for the SEO community, the first being a data collection tool called URL Profiler. We are a 2 man team, where Gareth does literally all the development, and Patrick does everything that is not development (including writing this copy).
Sitebulb's award-winning SEO softwarejust got a massive upgrade v3.0:
Audit scores for instant understanding
Deliver instant meaning with audit scores
Use audit scores to put audit results into context and create executive summaries for clients and management.
Instantly communicate with clients
Sitebulb's Hints have raised the bar on what you can expect from a website crawler, presenting meaningful insights instead of just data. Now those Hints are distilled into a score that has instant meaning, and can easily be interpreted by marketers of any level.
Dive into areas of weakness
You can quickly see which area is holding a site back, and click straight through to see the detailed scoring breakdown alongside the prioritized Hints – which tell you exactly what you need to do to resolve the issues and improve the score.
Scores for every section
For every section that includes Hints, Sitebulb also calculates a score, meaning you can really zero in on areas for improvement. There is a score specifically for SEO, so you can easily demonstrate to clients or bosses that your SEO is on the right track by logging improvements in this score.
Helping you summarise
Most clients or executives you are reporting to do not have the time, or the understanding, to digest every aspect of an audit report. Summarising is the best way to meaningfully communicate with these people, and audit scores are perfect for summaries.
To make this even easier, you can print audit scores straight into the PDF report.
Importance scores for every Hint allow you to prioritize the most critical fixes first.
Save time finding issues with prioritized hints
Over 300 site optimization checks pre-processed for you.
Your checklist done for you
Every time you complete a website audit, Sitebulb will pre-process over 300 common optimization checks, and present these as context-specific ‘Hints’.
Hints are checks that are typically time-consuming or complex to put together manually. Instead of messing around in Excel for hours, let Sitebulb do all this heavy lifting for you.
Focus on the things that matter
Every Hint comes with an importance status – Critical, High, Medium or Low – so you can instantly see where the issues lie and where to focus your time. The scoring system also helps you to prepare a prioritized set of recommendations for your client or developer, so the most important stuff gets dealt with first.
Everything explained for you
Every Hint description is written in a very deliberate style:
- Sentence 1: This is what the issue is.
- Sentence 2: This is why it could cause problems on your website.
The significance of the problem is explained for you – no need to write it out again. You can copy/paste directly out of Sitebulb into your own reports, or just use Sitebulb's built-in PDF reporting to do it all for you.
Every Hint also comes with a call to action button to ‘Learn more', which takes you to a dedicated page on our website that explains exactly what the issue is and how to resolve it. You can either follow along yourself or pass it straight on to your developer to fix.
Drill down into problems
Some Hints also provide contextual help, allowing you to drill down into the details by highlighting on-page issues that are difficult to dig into without searching through source code.
Make reporting easier
Whether you use them to save time on reporting, or use them to help show new SEOs the ropes, you’ll find Sitebulb’s Hints continually useful.
Unpick complex configurations
Sitebulb identifies chained or conflicting directives, that are extremely hard to spot manually.
Understand the scale of the issue
Each Hint shows a percentage of URLs affected, so you can instantly see if an issue is widespread or only affects a few pages.
Check ‘All Hints' to see every issue
Scroll through the ‘All Hints' page to see every single issue that affects your website, or view each report individually to better understand the context.
Sitebulb now uses the latest stable version of Chromium as its rendering engine, allowing you to see exactly what Google sees.
Flexible PDF reports
Print PDF reports for any section of your audit and choose which elements to include; perfect for sales, client or C-level reporting.
Dig into the change history for any metric to see what has changed since your last audit and demonstrate improvements graphically.
Identify similar content
The next level of duplicate content analysis – pick out pages that have substantially similar content to flag for review.
Retry failed URLs
Recrawl 404s and server timeouts, without having to recrawl the entire site, perfect for data integrity and verifying page fixes.

What is the maximum number of URLs Sitebulb can crawl?
Sitebulb Lite is limited to 10,000 URLs. With Sitebulb Pro, you can increase this up to a hard maximum of 2,000,000 URLs. By default the limit is set as 500,000, but you can adjust this when setting up your audit
What do you mean by 'user license'?
Sitebulb is licensed based on users, so a single user license will be assigned to one person - this user can then log into the Sitebulb tool to use it. If you have 3 people in your team using 3 copies of the Sitebulb software, you will require 3 user licenses.
I have a desktop computer at work and a laptop at home, can I use my license on both?
Yep. Your user license is tied to your email address, so you can log in at home and activate your paid license on your laptop. However, you cannot crawl concurrently on two different machines using the same license – to do this you would need to purchase an additional user license.
How do I access the 14 day free trial?
Simply download the software from this page and register for an account, Sitebulb will do the rest. You don’t need to enter your credit card or anything like that, but if you want to continue using the full power of Sitebulb after 14 days, you’ll need to sign up for a license above.
